One of the most important part of any daily facial routine is exfoliation. We are constantly shedding dead skin cells. These cells accumulate on our skin. When left there it can lead to dryness, breakouts and worst, a gray cast on your face.
I can always tell when looking at anyone’s face if they regularly exfoliate. The gray cast shows even through foundation, no matter how much coverage is there. This gives a very tired unkept look that most recognize whether by sight or subconsciously.
To keep that clean glow, I exfoliate every day.If you have sensitive skin you can do every other day or once a week.
There are many great exfoliating scrubs on the market. There are some inexpensive ones you can purchase at your local drugstore or expensive ones through a department store. The ones I use and recommend are by Mary Kay and Murad. You can also achieve this by toner like Clinique Clarifying #2.
No matter what the scrub you use, you will notice a difference in a few weeks.
